Sweet Beet Bangers are all hand made by Ed with NO preservatives or Crap in, so they will only keep fresh in the fridge for three days.
Storage
Suitable for home freezing. Ideally freeze as soon as possible after purchase but always use within three days of date shown. Follow the preparation guidelines above. Defrost thoroughly for a minimum of 12 hours in the fridge. Suitable for cooking from frozen. Once defrosted use on the same day and do not refreeze. Keep refrigerated. Once opened, consume within 2 days.
Cooking Instructions
PRIOR TO ANY COOKING OF THESE BANGERS ENSURE THAT THE SKINS ARE LIGHTLY RUBBED IN OIL AS THESE ARE PLANT BASED SKINS AND ARE DELICATE TO DIRECT HEAT, ADDING OIL WILL HELP PREVENT SPLITTING AND STICKING TO TRAY OR PAN.
Oven
Instructions: 200°C/Fan 180°C/Gas 6 Place on a baking tray in the center of a pre-heated oven for 15 – 18 minutes. Turn occasionally.
Oven from frozen
Instructions: 200°C/Fan 180°C/Gas 6 Place on a baking tray in the center of a pre-heated oven for 20 – 23 minutes. Turn occasionally.
Microwave
Instructions: Not suitable for microwave cooking.
Hob
Instructions: For best results, cook on a hob over a Medium heat rubbing the skins in olive oil to stop skins splitting. cook for 14 -17 mins. Turn occasionally. Skins should feel firm and banger piping hot in middle.
